Some guy, over 600 years ago, hand-carved this marble pillar at the Forbidden City, for his emporer's glory. Seeing the splendor and detail in even the tiniest aspects of all these places in China I saw, kind of makes me want to cry when I think how utilitarian America is. Buildings aren't made to last very long, and none are made with beauty in mind. It's sad, really.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
